Rules for 2024 Par 3 Challenge

  1. Cost is 18-Hole Green Fee, plus $25 entry.

  2. Must play with other Challenge participants.

  3. Please put all player’s FIRST and LAST name, GHIN Index if applicable, AND TEE TIME on the scorecard. Turn in the card into the Pro Shop before you leave.

  4. USGA Rules are in effect.

  5. “Preferred Lies” may be used through the green. You may improve your “lie” the length of the scorecard in the whole area of the course with the exceptions of: a) The teeing ground and putting green of the hole being played; b) All hazards on the course; c) Any ball within a club length of a tree or boundary fence.

  6. Out-of-bounds outside of chain link fence surrounding the course and to the left of the Driving Range fence on #10. Penalty stroke and distance.

  7. Any ball in a ditch may be played where it lies; or you may take a 2-club length relief, no closer to the hole with a 1-stroke penalty.

  8. All of the Par 4’s have been changed to Par 3’s for this tournament. Look for the White (All) & Yellow (Women’s/Junior’s) Tee Blocks in the fairway on those holes.  

Approximate Yardages are:
No.1 - 126 yds; No.2 - 163 yds; WOMENS No.7 - 168 yds; No.9 -  112 yds; No.13 - 97 yds, (Y) 96 yds; WOMENS No.15 - 158 yds; WOMENS No.16 - 185 yds and WOMEN’S No.18 - 178 yds. 
 
  1. Closest to the Pin on ALL HOLES. Measure distance to your ball from the edge of the cup. Put the name and distance on the sign if you are one of the closest THREE distances**.  

  2. Prizes for Low Gross and Net scores in the following divisions. Net scores will be determined by GHIN Handicap and/or by Modified Calloway Scoring System:

  • GHIN (Scores WILL NOT be posted)
  • Women
  • Men 61 and Younger
  • Seniors 62 and Older
  • Juniors 17 and Younger
  1. Results will be posted to our Website, Facebook Page, and in the Pro Shop, by Monday June 17thPrizes and Certificates shall be picked up from the Pro Shop.
